New Years in pictures

We spent New Years Eve with the kids at the "Noon Years Eve" party at the Discovery Museum in Marin.
The girls wore fancy dresses and got bags of swag which included necklaces and bubbles.  A big hit.
They had a DJ.  We rocked out.
Dave got to wear the sunglasses.

The Chuns went with us too.  Andy pointed out that Sarah Jane has already mastered her "sorority girl picture lean-in."
Here I am, two-fisting the babies.  Dartmouth style.  Directly after this picture we lost Drew-Drew and the other three adults scattered into the crowd looking for him while I stayed with the remaining five kids, doing the count-down and watching a big rubber ball get tossed off a balcony.  Just as anti-climatic as the real thing.  Thankfully we found Drew-Drew who did not know he was lost and I didn't lose anyone else.  Phew..

The girls recovered the next day with a bit of screen time.

Happy late New Years to all of you!

More (and more and more) Halloween Pictures

Halloween was so fun this year!  We had two lady bugs, a Superman and a Batman.  As usual we celebrated with a big crew including the Chuns, the Chens, the Berrien/Schmitzs, various Smuesbys and the Acostas.  We could pretty much stock a pre-school and definitely enjoyed the corresponding chaos.

The day started off with Sarah Jane's school parade.  They sang us three songs and the paparazzi snapped away.

The real fun started at about five.  Here are our superheros.  Eli was a super good sport and didn't even protest when I put his mask on! (Roby is Superman, Eli is Batman)
Favorite picture moment of every year.
Sarah Jane and Anna with their dear friends Drew and Brady
Eli and Roby with Kylie Chen
Berkeley High class of 2029! (with Kyle and Lila)
Trick or treating.  At the first house, Anna got a Kit Kat.  At the second house, the nice lady who lived there asked Anna if she'd like some candy (after everyone else had grbbed a piece.)  Anna looked at her like she was nuts, held up her Kit Kat and said, "Already got one!"  She caught on after that...

Examining their loot.  We experienced epic sugar highs but everyone is home and happily in bed.

Sending you all lots and lots of love.
