Camping!

Dave was extraordinarily brave this weekend and organized a Dad-Kid camping trip.  He and three of our Tuck friends took six kiddos up to Samuel P. Taylor State Park, roughly 40 minutes from Berkeley.  There was a 1 year old (Anna), a 2 year old, a three year old (Sarah Jane), and 3 four year olds.  As far as I can tell everyone survived, and even came home smiling.  Dave documented the event with his Blackberry.  Pictures below.  [I unfortunately was at home dealing with the remnants of a weeklong stomach flu topped off with mastitis.  Less fun than camping.  Even with a 1 and a 3 year old.  Thank goodness for Grandma who rushed home from Tahoe and has been my absolute hero this week!]

Lunch in the park, pre-campsite
Snoozing in the car on the way to the campsite
Anna - queen of the sudden wake up
 Tents!
 Snacktime
Chillin' (Dave's title.)  Notice the beers.
Dinner.  Table cloth a la Creighton.  Anna ate 2.5 hotdogs!  Sarah Jane subsisted on her usual diet of air.
Wake up.  A very reasonable 7:15am
Breakfast.  Anna consumed her entire egg burrito.  SJ did not.  No surprises.

Morning marshmellows.  Sarah Jane does not like marshmellows. Even though they would truly complement her usual diet of air.

Watching the chipmunks while the Daddies cleaned up. Please note the sisterly love. This might be my favorite photo ever. Also has Tate Oyler and Brady Chun.
